About Ust.Tareq Tamr

Tareq Tamr is the Founder and Director of Thabaat, a community space providing social and spiritual programming for young professionals in Metro Detroit under the guidance of Miftaah Institute. He works professionally in marketing and brand strategy, serving as the Head of Engagement at Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research.

Tareq has a Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy, and he is continuing his Islamic Studies with Miftaah and local scholars on a part-time basis. He has served his communities in Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan for over a decade as a youth director, khateeb, and lecturer for all ages.
