Join us for the start of Qawha's new Friday series in collaboration with ADAMS Wellness on The Building Blocks of Marriage!

Open to attendees 18+
and featuring Abdelwahab Elsirag and Family Therapist Masumeh Farchtchi, we will explore major yet common impediments to successful marriages.  We will examine roots causes, impacts, and solutions aimed to preventing problems before they occur as well how to engage with and solve issues that have already emerged.

Featuring a talk and Q&A, this event is designed for adult Muslims ages 18+ at all stages in life.  Whether you are single, looking for a partner, divorced, newly married, or a seasoned spouse, we hope there is something valuable here that can assist you in your search for a spouse or strengthen the marital bond you already have.

This event takes place in the outside Pavilion at ADAMS Sterling with one ticket covers all 3 weeks.  Donations are always appreciated to support future events! 

Each week also features a new food truck or vendor, so come by to grab a bite to eat!  (Food is purchased separately.)

About the Speakers

Abdelwahab Elsirag

Abdelwahab Elsirag is the President & CEO of I Will Coaching LLC, a Northern Virginia–based life-coaching and therapeutic Services agency. With over a decade of experience in mentoring, parent coaching, and clinical individual and family support, he works closely with youth, parents, and community partners to promote resilience, growth, and healthier family systems. Abdelwahab is passionate about bridging professional expertise with cultural and faith-based perspectives, empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. His programs serve hundreds of families each year across multiple counties, building stronger communities through practical tools, compassion, and consistency.

 

Masumeh Farchtchi

Masumeh Farchtchi is a mental health therapist with Discovery Mood & Anxiety Programs. She holds a master of science in human development and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Her work as a family therapist focuses on healing through self-awareness and skillfulness in relationships, including romantic partnership, parent-child, and sibling relationships, as well as trauma-informed care, neurodiversity affirmative therapy, and resilience-based models. Before LMFT, Masumeh enjoyed serving families as a behavior technician, community-based programming organizer, educator, and other adventures with awesome people in the US and overseas.
