Join us for this 3-week series with Ustadh Osamah Saleh as we explore the concept of Delayed Gratification in Spirituality.
God is all-powerful and can do whatever he desires. That is one of the reasons so many of us turn to him in faith that he will alleviate us from our tribulations and grant us that which we desire.
But for many, it feels like our prayers go unanswered, that we do not get what we pray for even when we desperately need it. Why does it appear that God sometimes delays answering our prayers? That, if anything, is the purpose of in being patient in spirituality? What is the reason in this perceived delay from the Divine? And what is the value of knowing in God's time?
Comprised of an engaging lecture followed by meaningful discussions, this series will explore how we can find faith when we think our prayers are going unanswered and our when future plans feel uncertain.
Doors for the event open at 7:15 for coffee and connection, event starts at 7:30.
One ticket covers all 3 weeks. Donations are greatly appricated and help us fund future events!
