In join us at Qahwa for this special session with Ust. Saad Omar and visiting speaker Ust. Hasan Hameed, we will learn about the incredible life of Alama Iqbal and discuss one of his most acclaimed poems, Saqi Namah as he envisions a beautiful future for the Ummah if we were to awaken from our slumber and assume our true station as the best nation sent to humanity.

About The Speakers
Ustadh Hasan Hameed
Ustadh Hasan Hameed is an advanced doctoral candidate in History and Islamic Studies at Princeton University. He holds a Masters in History from Princeton and another MA in South Asian Studies from the University of Oxford. He also spent many years studying with scholars in Pakistan. He lives in Princeton, NJ, with his wife and two daughters.
Ustadh Saad Omar
Saad Omar graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in English and a masters in nonprofit management. He has studied Islam and Arabic in Mecca, Jordan, Turkey and across the United States and lectured widely across United States, Canada and Europe. He is a published songwriter and poet, teacher and entrepreneur. He is currently working on building a living community, nonprofit cafe and business incubator in Sterling, VA.
