What Men Want - A Discussion on Marriage

  • 46903 Sugarland Rd Sterling, VA 20164 USA (map)

It's an age old question asked since the dawn of human civilization.  It's been asked by the young, the old.  The men and the women.  What is that men truly want?  Perhaps even more cutting, what is it that you truly want?

So it comes to seeking partnership, what is it that men seek?  Love?  Companionship? Validation?  Fulfillment?  Do men even know what they want or have they been deluded by the entrapments of society and technology into seeking something that they, in their heart of hearts, really do not want?

And how to women fit into all of this?  Do they have more insight into the aspirations and desires of man?  How can both men and women reconcile their conceptions of what partnership is with what marriage truly means in an Islamic paradigm?

Join us for as we seek to answer these questions in a special discussion with Imam Abdul-Malik Merchant and Brother Omar Khan as we seek to answer these questions are more.

Designed for both men and women, ages 18+, we will discuss a range of topics including romanticization, gender roles, commitment, superficiality, responsibility and more!  We greatly look forward to your attendance!
