A project that was 10+ years in the making, Qahwa Café has now opened its doors to serve the ADAMS congregation and guests in 2021. The space is located inside ADAMS Sterling and boasts a beautiful modern and youthful twist on an age-old concept: the coffee house.

The Arabic word “Rijaal” translates in English as “Men”. Imam Abdul-Malik Merchant is leading a new series on Tuesday nights, where we will be drawing from the wisdom of Imam al-Qusheiri’s (d. 465/1072) “Risala”. This series is for 18+ youth and young professionals looking to learn what it takes to become better men from how our scholars in the Islamic tradition have understood it. Open To Men Only.

On Tuesdays, Sister Kouthar will lead a discussion on the intersection of positive psychology and Islamic concepts. Together, we'll explore how to flourish amidst the whirlwind of our lives. Through lectures and discussions, we aim to grow in our relationships with others, ourselves, and Allah.

Formerly known as conviction circles, we are shifting the Grounding to be in 3-week modules, led by Ustadh Saad Yacoob, with a lecture and interactive discussion portion. Come to meet people, interact, and learn.
