Mother's Day East Asian Floral Workshop

  • 46903 Sugarland Rd Sterling, VA 20164 USA (map)

Get ready for Mother's Day with this hands-on East Asian Floral Workshop! 🌹

Celebrate the special bond of motherhood with an afternoon of tranquility, creativity, and connection as we invite mothers, daughters, and all individuals to join us for a unique floral design workshop inspired by the minimalist elegance of East Asian artistry!

Moving away from traditional dense bouquets, we will explore the beauty of "less is more," using a Kenzan (floral frog) to create intentional, sculptural arrangements that honor the natural form of every stem. This event comes just in time for Mother's Day and the custom arrangements would undoubtably be the perfect gift!

What’s Included: All floral supplies (fresh seasonal blooms and branches), use of professional tools, a heavy brass floral frog to keep, and tea service.

Spaces are limited to ensure a serene and focused environment. Tickets can be purchased individually if you are attending by yourself or at a discounted ticket-for-two rate if a mother-daughter pair want to participate together! Open to Ages 14+

Whether you are a seasoned gardener or a complete beginner, this class offers a beautiful way to slow down and create something meaningful to take home together! 2 identical sessions are offered, pick the one that best fits your schedule!

Session 1 - (2:00-3:30pm)

Session 2 - (4:00-5:30pm)

About Aisha Carter

Aisha Carter is an aspiring artist and entrepreneur who is also the founder of her People of the Garden. People of the Garden was created from a love of beauty as an act of devotion. Rooted in faith, community, and the quiet poetry of nature, our work explores how flowers can become vessels for remembrance, reflection, and gathering. We believe that tending to beauty—especially during sacred seasons—is a way of tending to the soul.

Create with intention. Gather in beauty. Grow together. 🌿
