About Salimah Hagmagid
Salimah Hagmagid is a poet, journalist, and essayist from Northern Virginia. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelors in English and Poetry Writing and a minor in Religious Studies. In College, she was a featured writer for The Cavalier Daily and was published in V Magazine, The Flux Poetry Literary Magazine, and Sapelo Square. She works for Forerunners as the Creative Editor of their newly launched publication, The Common Good, and as an Associate for Emgage Action DMV. Additionally, she publishes her poetry and prose consistently on her substack called Little Chamber, where she welcomes any and all interested readers to join her.
